I'm excited! Today we are going to interview Robert Sheinbein of LinkWheel.net to get some valuable information on SEO and linkwheels.

"Hi Rob for my readers who don't know you can you tell us a little about yourself and your experience in web marketing?"
Hi Diamond Dave,
I operate many websites that deal with various aspects of the internet. Some of my best-known sites are www.Oilchange.com (which is a premium website design company), www.EkOnline.com, and SEO services like www.LinkWheel.net and MadContent.com. We're based out of Toronto Canada. We have been in the creative side of the internet for quite a while now, and clients have always asked us if we can also help optimize their websites. That is how we got into SEO, and both our SEO sites are leaders in their own niches.
"SEO is constantly changing. What piece of advice can you offer our readers?"
We use the analogy of real estate developers to explain SEO. First you find undervalued property then fix it up and then rent it for more money or sell it. If you don't fix it up then you will never get the benefit of what you bought. The same goes with your website. We like to think of ourselves as "the only solution" for SEO but the truth is that you have to be doing a myriad of things, of course Linkwheels being at the head of the pack for affordable SEO that works.
There are many SEO options that people bombard us with every day so I want to focus on the basics. Google is looking for good quality content. Thus does it make sense to have every page of your site the perfect word count, perfect keyword density, and perfect inbound and outbound links? This is not what makes good quality content. Good quality content should be random. Sometimes it takes 200 words to bring to your readers the information they need and sometimes it takes 1,000. What I am saying is don't stress out. Focus on perfect SEO for the home page and other internal pages that you are focusing on and on the other pages be natural. The main thing is to make sure that you have a proper Meta title.
"Which do you think Google would like better for a Meta title?
Option 1: Blue Widget | Widgets that are Blue| Discount Blue Widgets
Option 2: Blue Widget: HUGE discounts on Widgets"
Well Option 1 shows your 3 key phrases you are going after and Google sees that you are trying too hard.
And Option 2 has your main key phrase but then has a sentence that makes sense to your website visitors. Thus in option 2 Google sees that you have a Meta title that does not get marked as keyword stuffing. In addition, since the Meta title shows on Google, the word HUGE will stand out from the rest of the listings which gives you the better chance of being clicked. I call the above - web psychology. You have to know what your users want and then give it to them. Sometimes that means having the best well designed site and other times it's having an intentionally ugly site.
Back on topic, it is very important to do "Natural SEO". For your main pages of your site do the perfect on and off page SEO but for the rest of your pages make sure that you have Meta titles and great quality content that your users want to read.
As I mentioned earlier, SEO involves a myriad of services. I would like to list a few of them below which I consider the staples. Not everyone needs all of them but this mix is almost guaranteed to get you the desired results.

· Outbound links to authority sites
· Quality content that is continually added to your site
· Blog for your site
· Forum for your site
· SMO( FaceBook, Twitter, etc)

· Video Marketing
· Local Search
